This is a big single door medicine cabinet. We wanted a single door so that the mirror would not be split in two halves. It offers more space than our old one and I love that. Our master bathroom is small and we need to utilize as much space as possible.We wanted a framed cabinet for design purposes - it is hard to find a framed cabinet that is this large with a single door, and that does not costs several hundred dollars.The frame is more of a chrome finish - I thought it was going to be more of a brushed chrome to match the accessories items in our bathroom. But it is installed now and we are happy with it. The quality seems to be good - (our installer even said we must have paid a lot for this cabinet.) The mirrored door is heavy to open, as it is large. It also has two magnetic closures so it is sure to stay closed. Our old cabinet had one magnetic closer that would open on occasion (after several years of use.)It comes with 2 shelves - but I've read you can order a 3rd shelf. We do not need a 3rd shelf as everything fits + more. The cabinet is deeper than others and you can double up on the shelves with smaller items. Because we have two shelves we have a tall space between shelves and can have taller items in the cabinet that we used to have to keep in the vanity.It is perfect for our needs. I only gave it four stars because I thought the finish would be more of a brushed finished - but that is likely my fault as I read many descriptions from various websites and thought it would be more of a brushed finish. Overall we are very happy with it (installed only for 3 days) so time will tell.
