The backing tore apart and one edge of the rug. The backing of the conture (rug that goes in front of the toilet) tore after washing so I whip stitched it back together to save it and not have to buy another. I did NOT place the rugs in the dryer due to the decor and especially after the backing ripped apart in the washer. Also, the second rug that I ordered was not the same gray as the first two but I'm just over it at this time.
