Satisfied and happy that I’ve bought this. We’re getting ready for our rainbow baby and bathing my firstborn makes my lower back hurt and knees as well, having this gives me a relief and makes bath time fun for my daughter. My child stepped on it with dirty shoes and I cannot get it out. However, it is super comfortable and a must have to bathe a child in the regular tub.A knee saver!I am a HUGE fan of Skip Hop. We have their products all over our house. I recently bought this because the guest bathroom (the one with a bathtub) had sliding glass shower doors on it. We removed those doors, but the track cannot be removed from the tub. Therefore, it is impossible to sit on the edge of the bathtub. The first few times I gave my toddler a bath in our only tub in the house my knees got killed kneeling on the floor. I saw this adorable whale kneeler and decided it was a must-have, especially after seeing the price tag. (I threw in the Skip Hop whale spout cover too! So cute!) Once we received this, I couldn't wait to give my daughter a bath! I tossed it down on the floor and dropped to my knees. This thing was crazy comfortable! Then my daughter begin to splash and I thought 'uh oh, this thing is going to move all over the place once the floor gets wet.' Nope! It stays in one place, thanks to the non-slip backing. I smiled to myself thinking about what a win this mat was. Then I pulled my kiddo out of the tub, let her press her feet down on the kneeler, which made super cute tiny human footprints and made my cutie giggle. I dried her off and hung this adorable mat up to dry, thanks to the well thought out little hanging strap that comes apart via velcro. Perfect, since I hang it from the shower rod, as we don't have any towel racks currently installed in out bathroom. *spoiler alert*Here comes that sad part of this otherwise perfect mat.. When I went to grab the mat to lay it down again for another bath (several days later) I noticed it was covered with yucky looking water stains. Oh no! I threw it in the washing machine on hand wash cycle, hoping they'd come out. No dice. I dabbed a few drops of lemon essential oil on it (antibacterial) and tossed it back in the wash. Then it came out even grosser looking with spots. I said RIP to the thing and sadly tossed it in the trash. If you want a mat that stays clean looking, don't buy this one. :(I bought this to replace the blue one I had for the last 5 years from BabiesRUs (I was tired of looking at the baby barf stains lol). This one is just as comfortable, but it slides all over the floor. My old one didn't move unless we wanted to move it. I may have to glue an antiskid mat to the bottom or something before my kids fall on it. It's fine otherwise. Hoping it'll last just as long as my last mat did - until I'm done bathing babies!I do like this product. I love the idea of having a cushion for your knees during bath time. I do wish it had a little bit more cushion, as it doesn’t prevent my knees from hurting, just helps a bit. Also, it’s a big small for my liking, I wish it was longer so I had more space to get comfortableEs más pequeño de cómo lo imagineI'm 5'0" and found the area of this whale to be too little for me. No big deal. But what was such a bummer is that after just a few days, the foam was molding to the shape of my knees and staying that way. The padding doesn't "bounce" back. And since the area's small, I could kneel only in the same spots which were becoming less and less padded. I ended up buying a $5 gardening kneeler from Target the next week and my knees are much happier with it.Is it over priced ? Kinda. But it’s so cute and I have the whole matching set. It’s a lab easily wipe ankle material with a very comfortable cushion inside. The first time I used it I couldn’t believe I hadn’t thought to get one before. Especially saves your knees from hard and cold tilesWhen I bought this my husband thought I had gone mad. But yes it turned out to Ben super useful when kneeling down in front of the bath tub. The sponge is incredibly thick, form and super comfortable. Hardly feel a thing in my knee when bathing my baby now!Thought this was a laughable product but turns out it’s actually the best thing I ever bought for bath times. My knees are eternally grateful!!As you would expect from SkipHop a well made pad that's just large enough to kneel on but not too large as to be a pain to store. This has totally saved my knees. It’s a good size, not too big and not to small, dries quickly and has really good padding. It is a bit on the expensive side, but in saying that it’s worth every penny and I couldn’t be without it now.
