If I were to openly admit how extensively I shopped for the absolutely best sconces for my half-bath remodel, I would surely find myself promptly committed to a super-friendly people-filled institution bathed in drab florescent lighting and dressed in quilted walls. But, I am so happy that I did my homework and that I ultimately chose these. They simply look AMAZING and have earned countless compliments from my friends and guests alike. The design, quality, and finish are top-notch and they have a very rich, artsy-industrial look and feel about them. The nickel finish is "clean" and glossy though, not "raw". Also note that the glass shade is uniformly white from top to bottom, with no grey band at the top as may be mis-perceived from the stock marketing image. This sconce is sturdy, but super easy to install with press-in bulbs, slip-on glass shade, and a mounting plate designed to accommodate virtually any electrical box size and shape (I had read another review asserting that a square box is required- not true at this point in time). Took me about 15 - 20 minutes to install two. Definitely recommend pairing with a dimmer switch to fully enjoy the wide spectrum of beautiful lighting options these produce, from task to mood.Good. They look nice. I think I saw them on an episode of Parenthood as well. Haha.Someone submitted a question - yes, you can replace the bulbs. We actually received an extra bulb with our order. They're kind of pricey otherwise but let me say, I use them most nights so my daughter's bathroom light is always on to encourage her to not have accidents. And after 4 months, still going strong. I will say, looking closely at them and handling them, they don't look like they're the 'best' quality, but from about 2 feet away, they look pretty good.I made the assumption, based on the product, that the pack quantity was 2 instead of one. The description referred to the number of bulbs in one light. Nice looking product but a bit pricey for one in my opinion. I returned the item because I need to at a lower price.I was very surprised by this light. I expected a slightly inferior product due to the low price, but the fit and finish are great. It easily compares to fixtures in the 300~ 600 dollar range.The bulb provided is excellent for vanity applications. The women love the fact that it gives a warm light that does not cast any shadows on their face while applying makeup.The seller is fantastic. Their shipping was like magic. Its almost like I clicked order and the doorbell rang with the UPS guy. The seller also follows up about a week later. I highly recommend them.The best! I bought these years ago for another bathroom. When I remodeled my basement bath last year, I looked for them at the lighting store and they were no longer in stock. I found these on Amazon and I ordered two. I was disappointed that they changed the bulb type, but I had my bathroom remodeling team install them anyway. Well..... a year later and the bulbs have not burned out. The light is bright, not too yellow, not TOO bright. I could not be happier with my purchase. These were less expensive than the set I previously bought 8 years ago... and better.I bought 3 of these lights for my master bathroom remodel. I didn't install them, so I can't comment on installation, but they look great in the new bathroom. They have a very modern feel to them and work well with brushed nickel faucets and finishing's. Because of shipping problems with other lights that we tried to get first we ended up getting these, which arrived very quickly and we're actually glad we had issues with the other lights. We've already received a lot of compliments on these lights. Because they're 60 watt and we have 3 of them, we had them put on a dimmer switch, which makes them look even better if we want to have them just turned down low in the morning.Buy the less expensive version of this fixture, with xeon bulbs installed. Buy replacement LEDs. Total cost way less than buying the LED version.These lights look 'high end' and very nice in my pseudo-contemporary bathroom. I'm picky and these lights meet my standards and are worth the money. My only complaint is that I have them next to a large mirror and they are nearly too bright. I either need to put them on a dimmer or find lower wattage bulbs. Two 50 watt bulbs go in each fixture. Also, each box came with an extra spare bulb - nice touch. These lights are keepers!
