Our first unit died after we left it turned on with no paraffin in the bowl for days at a time.This is the replacement unit. We have been very satisfied with it.Large enough for your feet (we tried up to size 13).Easy to use.Only con, probably shared with all such paraffin baths, is cleanup. Once the wax has spilled on the side or cover, only way to cleanup is to scrape it and use elbow grease to wipe it of. No big deal, but it just stops looking brand new fairly quickly because of it.This type of treatment was recommended by my doctor for worsening arthritis in my hands. I have been using it daily. It arrived with 7 pounds of wax which fills it to just about the maximum line. Because I am the only one using it I put the wax back in, and also reuse the plastic liners, several times. After 6 weeks I have not had to add any wax. It does accumulate sediment in the bottom and a full cleaning will be necessary at some point. I use my spa every day and I can think of nothing negative to say about it. I am glad I made the choice I did.This paraspa has worked very well for me. I suffer from RA and Fibro myalgia and it's been helpful during flares. Heats and melts wax quickly.This is easy to use and great for the hands. I recommend also wrapping the hand in a towel to try to keep the heat in as well as in theglove as paraffin cools so quickly.I am recovering from a broken wrist and I use a smaller version of this at physical therapy 3 times a week. That felt so good that I had to buy my own. I use it almost daily and my sore wrist really feels the difference. I've used it on both hands and my feet are next.
