Very small. Like cat/ small dog toy.I don't know what that other reviewer bought, but this is about the size of a softball (I added pics in my hand and against one of Munchkin's temperature sensing ducks for size-comparison proof)... My 7 month old LOVES this! It's light-weight enough for her to hang on to, she loves watching the water drain out of it, loves the shaking noise the little beads inside the inner ball make, and it drains at just the right flow to gently rinse her hair! We use this at tubby time every night! Wish I had this when my son was an infant instead of a boring old cup to rinse his hair!
