I’ve used this soap for years. I actually wouldn’t call it a sudsy soap. But as a detailer I find soap suds or foam is more for show than a practical part of a soap. This is a gentle soap on your paint and it removes most dirt. But like any wash, if your car is really dirty pre-rinse and prep the car first. I use it on all my cars even those with ceramic coatings and sealants. You can’t go wrong with this, but like any product you can use it wrong. Follow the directions and use the two bucket method (wash bucket and rinse bucket) and you’ll get great results. As always rinse and at the end flood the paint with water to reduce spotting. These high end soaps are great for newer and well kept cars. They are perfect for coated or sealed cars.. Now, while the do clean very well, if you are looking for a cheap soap like Mequires that has a lot of suds, this or any of these high end soap will not mimic that.. If you use a foam cannon or gun, you will get more suds. This soap leaves a beautiful finish and glides over the paint. If you have a nice car or truck ( Show car or driver) Don't go cheap, get this soap.. I promise you it won't disappoint. This product will NOT remove sealant or waxes or coatings.. It only cleans with no harsh cleaners..I've had my white Porsche for a couple of months and have had it washed professionally a few times. I decided to wash it myself with Auto Bathe, a foam cannon and pressure washer. The car came out a brighter white than it's been. It made a really nice thick foam and the dirt was easily lifted off. I'm impressed enough to try other Wolfgang products on my car.I have a BMW 535 in black saphire. I noticed the Wesley's soap I was using left marks and spots. I could never got the car to really shine. There was always a very slight haze that I could detect in the right light. I finally switched over to the Wolfgang Auto Bath and the results were pretty amazing. The very first time I used it I noticed that it shined like the day I brought it home. Not a water mark, spot or streak. The stuff is pretty amazing. A little goes a long way which is good because it is not cheap.I’ve tried other products by Wolfgang with good results. After reading the reviews I thought I would give this a try. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a great experience with it.No matter the amount used, it never got very sudsy. With the recommended amount, it did not clean very well and left spots and smudges on the paint. With a larger than recommended amount, it still did not clean very well and left spots and smudges. With a smaller than recommended amount, it did not clean very well and left spots and smudges.Basically, it doesn’t clean very well and leaves spots and smudges no matter how quickly I rinse and dry. I’ve had much better results with other products. I can’t really recommend this cleaner. On the upside, it smells nice…Wolfgang Auto Bath is to the car as Dove is to the skin. It actually feels smooth and silky being applied. It creates lasting suds that lubricate the surface of the car, helping to prevent any dirt from scratching the car's surface. It leaves little to no spotting when rinsed off. The product has a pleasant aroma (not at all overpowering.) I use Wolfgang Auto Bath about twice a month and don't feel I need to rewax the car more frequently than every 6 months.Great job cleaning car. I may have used too little on the first time. I did not get the suds I was looking for. However, I will add a bit more next time.I use all Wolfgang products on my Camaro convertible & think they are well worth the cost.
