I wanted to get into bath bomb making the easy way, getting most of what I needed in one go. I saw complaints that some things were not included in this kit like baking soda and corn starch, but those were the 2 things that were easiest to obtain from pretty much any grocery store. The citric acid, molds, etc. are harder to come by.My kit arrived with everything expected with one exception. The Amazon description states that there are different shaped molds...there are not. They are all spheres. But I was able to make a batch of bath bombs the first night I got my kit and they turned out quite nicely. There are tons of variations on the bath bomb recipe online and I would encourage people do try all sorts, but the ones included here are relatively fool proof if you follow them closely. The amount of oils and citric acid included will make you several batches which is nice. I do wish more coloring powders were included but still, a great way to get started with bath bomb making!Missing from this kit are baking soda and cornstarch, which are the bulk of the ingredients used to create a bath bomb or "fizzie".It's a disappointment to open up the box and find out you have to go back out and buy more product just to make the bath bomb, and for what you get, the $25 price point seems high. The molds are cheap and you have to cut them out yourself, the bottles of color and scent are small, and you have to figure out a way to hold the two pieces together to get the bath bomb halves to fuse into one bomb. Also, the bombs dissolve incredibly fast in the water-more like a sugar cube in hot tea than like a regular bath bomb. I think this is because we couldn't squeeze the material together solidly enough to make a good, dense bath bomb because there's no way to do it with the included molds. On the up side, the scents were nice.I thought that the shipping period was great and not to expensive. I was not able to use the molds, they never would hold the product. I would have preferred for a beginners package that the molds were more professional something that had a clasp. Also I would have liked to know that all the products needed for the kit were not included. I thought all the products other than the mold included were of great quality. Thank you for sharing your product.I made these for my sister-in-law, who loves Lush bath bombs. She loved the ones I made with this kit and thought they were very close to the expensive Lush bombs. She wanted to know what all was in them and wants to make her own, now. The kit had everything but cornstarch, baking soda, and Epsom salt. But it was very easy to make them, and the kit came very quickly. I will definitely make more bath bombs again. It has enough in it to make several batches, and each batch makes 6 bath bombs, with some left over. I had some jello molds I used and made 4 small ones with the left over mixture. Very happy with this purchase! There was NOT a celestial or a nautical mold. Instead there was the plain half round balls that can be gotten anywhere. The two molds were the main reason for buying it. And they weren't even in the kit as promised. Very disappointing especially from Lorann-their products are generally better than described, except this time. The other items were just as described. The oils were sealed. The dyes sealed. The directions very easy to read and follow.Just the molds--it's the fourth set I've gotten from different kits--that all promised something else. The other companies I didn't know and they also stated they may substitute items. I didn't see the disclaimer stating that from Lorann--but I probably.missed it. Going to look when this is done. If its not there--Im bugging. Someone somewhere til I get them !This kit was described as:".. Create whimsically shaped bath Bombs for yourself or for gifts. ... Kit includes 1 nautical sheet mold 1 celestial sheet mold..." when in fact the kit only contained molds to create balls. Also, the instructions on the site say you need baking soda (not included). You also need quite a bit of cornstarch, that is not included. So disappointing! I will probably buy some other molds at the local craft store, but I am disappointed that I didn't get what was advertised and what I ordered. The kit is great - But make sure you have plenty of cornstarchand baking soda on hand. They are not included in the kit.I know it tells you in the description , but if you have orderedyour kit 3 days before and wanting to start as soon as it get thereRemember the other ingredients otherwise you will be runningout to the store.....This is a great starter kit for bath fizz bombs/balls. It comes with everything you need to get started except the corn starch and baking soda. The molds are a bit cheaply made, but good for a few uses. It comes with an easy-to-follow recipe that a child can follow. We have tested this in the bath, and it fizzes as expected.Very nice kit to get you started making bath bombs.Perfect kit.... ?
